Enable CLIP to search photos with a description or another photo. The model runs on your device. Public item photos come from this server; your search photo and search text are not sent to an inference service.

First use downloads about 154 MB of model files from Hugging Face, plus the runtime from a CDN. This may take several minutes. Network access and browser storage are required.

AI is optional. Description search works without it.

Send your identifying detail for staff review. Wait for approval, then collect your item from the office.

This independent hackathon prototype is not affiliated with a school. School staff alone can upload and publish found items. Listing photos and descriptions are visible to students and visitors. Private identifying clues, claim contacts, and claim answers are stored server-side and require staff authentication to read.
